Smooth was a very correct buck, with wonderful feet and legs, perfect rear leg angulation, strong pasterns, and a beautiful top line. He was wide in the escutcheon with tremendous width throughout. He had sharp, tight shoulders, a strong back and was uphill in his top line.
Smooth was the gentlest of bucks and a dream to work with. He has passed on his wonderful disposition to his offspring. His progeny are extremely wide, long, smooth, and well blended, with excellent feet, legs, and top line. Udders are strong both fore and rear, especially the fullness of rear, with excellent teat delineation and medial suspensory ligament.

Marvin was light, red roan. He was large, powerful, but very dairy. He was very sharp, smooth, well blended, and very wide throughout. Not only did his progeny have well attached udders, they milked! In spite of his size and power, he was very gentle. In fact,he was nicknamed the
"Gentle Giant”. His offspring inherited his fabulous disposition.
Marvin's greatest attribute was his ability to pass on all these wonderful qualities; he was genetically pre-potent.

Black Tie is very dairy. He is HUGE and VERY correct.
Black Tie is a proven buck that produces very large, tall, long, elegant kids that have a very good general appearance, grow rapidly, and have strong medials. Tie brings height, dairy character, and helps with teat placement. He adds smoothness in the front end and stature, he adds more width in the rear. He has several daughters that have placed in the top 10 at the Nationals. Black Tie crossed with our lovely does should make an outstanding impact on our herd! We have already seen the results in our 2005 & 2006 kids. Weighing at an average of 14-15 pounds at birth and just gorgeous! That's including doe kids!
Several of Tie's offspring did very well in 2006 taking JGCH at their first shows out. We lost Tie last year and we miss him greatly but through A.I. we will still be able to enjoy his powerful genetics in our offspring.

Being an example of longevity, Black Tie's dam, GCH Goldthwaite My Bonny Love 5*M, 9-07 90 (VEEE) HES 92.5, won the 1999 National Show Production Award while placing 12th in her Aged Doe class. Also in 1999 she was Best-Of-Breed, Best Udder-Of-Breed and Best Doe-In-Show making it the third year in a row that she has been Best Doe-In-Show at the Tri-State Fair in Amarillo, TX. In 1998 she was 5xBest-Of-Breed and 2xBest Doe-In-Show, while in 1997 she was Grand Champion, Best Doe-In-Show and Best Udder-In-Show. In 2003, at age nine, she was still awarded the title of Best-Of-Breed - a grand old girl with a lifetime DHIR of 1449 15,160 679 590! Her daughters bear her resemblance exhibiting her strength and structural correctness, general appearance, exceptional dairy character and overall body length.Black Tie is a growthy, tall and upstanding buck who is sharp and angular. Despite his long bone pattern he has a short pastern with good feet and a correct rear leg set. At his first show he placed 1st in all three rings with nine in his class. He went on to win Grand Champion earning his first leg as a yearling against 15 other senior Nubian bucks!
